This site has been under construction since ~ September 2000. I have been accumulating much of this material most
of my life, the Scriptures much more recently. I agree with some of the material less now than I have in the past.
In my youth I valued dreams, success and being important. But with time I have learned to question what it means to
be successful and important; I have learned that God's plans are greater than mine. And so you will find statements
that contradict one another, many ideas are incomplete. The poem the Man in the Glass discusses having integrity and
living by your conscience. It does not acknolwedge that God built a conscience within each of us or that it's His opinion
of you that actually matters the most. And so, at the very least, such contrast ought to make you think. Before
knowing God, I clung to such ideas. They were the best I knew. Perhaps you're at that point in your life as well;
if so, you need to know that there is something better. You will find advice, philosophy or perhaps even humor in the
quotes by men. But in Scripture, which is from God, you will find the Truth.
